Bose said the AnyLink is awful & doesn’t effect the tv turning off or the soundbar. Both wrong. It controls the HDMI ARC port so it has to be on. Geez what a mess for one simple solution. Also had me try turning the Bose soundbar off first then the tv, since the Bose remote doesn’t do anything with the TV except the sound or bluetooth.

Can you connect a Bose TV to a Samsung TV?
If one or both doesn’t have ARC then you will have connect as Alabalcho suggests. You might need an DAC to convert digital to analog audio if the Bose doesn’t have digital input or a converter to go from optical to coax or vice versa if they both have digital but not the same kind. Most TVs do not output sound thru HDMI.
